  27.   The "+" version of the program includes the following:

  29.       Users Guide Booklet (64-pages).

  31.       Latest version of the program and technical support.
  32.       Plays up to 25,000,000 hands in Auto Play mode.

  34.   FREE TRIAL BLACKJACK SIMULATION VERSION...BJS
  35.     Documentation:
  36.       ASCII text file version of Getting Started (on disk). This
  37.       represents about the first 10 pages of the BJS+ Users Guide.
  38.     Program:
  39.       Only plays up to 25,000 hands in Auto Play mode.
  40.       The rest of the program is essentially the same as the "+"
  41.       version and should give you a good indication of it usefulness
  42.       to you. If you find the program useful, you can upgrade to the
  43.       "+" version of Blackjack Simulation. Note that If you want to
  44.       properly test a blackjack system, you should play several million
  45.       hands with the casino conditions that you are likely to encounter.
  46.       If you are a serious blackjack player the "+" version is highly
  47.       recommended.

  65.   interest in the program I will continue to add enhancements. Any major 
  66.   enhancements will be made available to all "+" version registered users
  67.   at a nominal charge.

  77.   BATCH FILE "PLAY.BET":
  78.   A batch file, play.bet, is also enclosed with Blackjack Simulation.
  79.   If for some reason you do not want to create a DOS box under Windows,
  80.   you can use this batch file to run the program from the Windows File
  81.   Manager. The enclosed batch file assumes that Blackjack Simulation is
  82.   in the directory c:\bjs.  If not, you can use the DOS Editor (or almost
  83.   any editor) to change the drive or directory.
  84.     To run Blackjack Simulation in this mode:
  85.       Bring up the File Manager
  86.       Go to the drive/directory that Blackjack Simulation is located in.
  87.       Double click on the batch file "play.bat".
  88.       The program will load in and you will essentially be running from a
  89.       DOS prompt.
  90.     If you try to double click on the file bjs.exe, the program will not
  91.     be able to find the files required to load in the program. The batch
  92.     file just changes the default directory to c:\bjs which then allows
  93.     the program to find the necessary files to start Blackjack Simulation.

  95.   PRINTING "BJSSTART.TXT" GETTING STARTED DOCUMENT:

  97.   FROM THE DOS EDITOR:
  98.    Put your system in DOS mode..ie DOS prompt
  99.    Goto the directory that you have loaded the Blackjack Simulation files
  100.    into...use the "CD" command
  101.    From the DOS Prompt, type in "edit bjsstart.txt"
  102.    Press the "Enter" key.
  103.    The DOS Editor and the BJS documention file should now load in.
  104.    Click on "File".
  105.    Click on "Print".
  106.    Click on "OK".
  107.    After the documentaion file has printed out:
  108.     Click on "File".
  109.     Click on "Exit".
  110.    You should now be back at the DOS promt.

  112.   FROM THE WINDOWS FILE MANAGER:
  113.    Open up the File Manager program by double clicking on its Icon.
  114.    Find the directory that you have installed Blackjack Simulation into.
  115.    Double click on the file "bjsstart.txt".
  116.     For normal Window setups, this should load the "bjsstart.txt" file
  117.     into Windows Notepad. If not, you must manually load "bjsstart.txt"
  118.     into Windows Notepad (refer to your Windows documentaion).
  119.    Click on "File".
  120.    Click on "Page Setup".
  121.    Set the Left and Righ Margins to ".25".
  122.    Set the Top and Bottom Margins to ".5".
  123.    Click on "OK".
  124.    Click on "File".
  125.    Click on "Print".
  126.    After the documentation file has printed out:
  127.     Click on "File".
  128.     Click on "Exit".
  129.    You should now be back in the File Manager.
  130.    Click on "File"
  131.    Click on "Exit" to exit the File Manager.
